The development and annual adoption of the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) which is a comprehensive two-year planning program that outlines and coordinates the individual transportation planning activities of member agencies.

Federal legislation governing transportation funds requires metropolitan area transportation plans and programs to be developed through a continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive (3-C) planning process. The Corpus Christi Metropolitan Planning Organization is the MPO for the Corpus Christi urbanized area and covers portions of Nueces and San Patricio counties.
FM 2444 Upgrade
Public input is being sought to make sure that both the planned ultimate facility and the phased or interim upgrades meet the safety and mobility needs of both the commuter population and the adjacent property owners.
