Corpus Christi MPO Public Notice

The Corpus Christi Metropolitan Planning Organization (CCMPO) will seek public input and comments on February 23, 2012 at the 9:00 a.m. meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) of the CCMPO at the administrative offices of the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) located at 5658 Bear Lane in Corpus Christi, TX 78405. Public input and comments will also be solicited Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the 1:30 p.m. meeting of the Transportation Policy Committee (TPC) at the Corpus Christi City Hall located at 1201 Leopard in Corpus Christi, TX 78401. The TPC and the TAC will discuss, and possibly take action, to request an amendment of the 2010-2035 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and adopt the 2013–2016 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to include the following projects:
Projects would be considered as “fiscally constrained” projects with participation of sponsoring agencies. Possible action to modify or adopt the amendments based on public input may take place at the meeting of the CCMPO – Transportation Policy Committee on March 1, 2012 at the 1:30 p.m. meeting at Corpus Christi City Hall Council Chambers located at 1201 Leopard in Corpus Christi, TX 78401.

OVERVIEW: As part of our Public Participation Plan, we encourage interested parties to provide input and comments on proposed changes to the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) and other transportation planning documents at key decision points. All comments provided will be evaluated and fully considered prior to final adoption of any draft plan or amendment. Public comments and agency responses are normally incorporated into the appropriate documents verbatim or the comments may be summarized.
