FM 2444/SH 357 Corridor Mobility Study
Project Information

TxDOT initiated these studies because FM 2444 (Staples Street), SH 357 (Saratoga Boulevard), and the surrounding areas have experienced substantial growth, which is anticipated to continue. As traffic and development along these corridors have increased, so have the number of conflict points along these roads.
OOTxDOT held two Citizen and Property/Business Owners Open House meetings, the first on October 25, 2007 and the second on October 9, 2008, both at Kaffie Middle School Cafeteria. TxDOT staff and consultants were available to explain the project and scope, answer questions, and to listen to project suggestions.

The materials distributed during the course of the project are available for download in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.

Project Update: May 11, 2009
Previously planned for 2011, this project will be accelerated to 2010 under the Economic Stimulus Package - American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009. See
