Bylaws & Operation Procedures:
The Bylaws document lists the responsibilities of the Transportation
Policy Committee, the Technical Advisory Committee, Transportation
Planning Director and MPO Staff. This document lists the
composition, voting and non-voting members, and meeting procedures
of both committees. All meetings of the MPO committees are held in
accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Law. Approved Apr

Congestion Management Process:
The Corpus Christi Metropolitan
Planning Organization Congestion Management Process (CMP), which
grew from the Congestion Management System (CMS), is intended to
serve as an organized and transparent way for our planning area to
identify and manage congestion, connect performance measures to
support funding for projects, and evaluate recommended strategies to
ensure we are effectively addressing congestion. Approved Nov 6,

transportation policy committee member listing functional

Texas Metropolitan Mobility Plan:
The Texas Metropolitan Mobility Plan (TMMP) provides a picture of
the overall transportation needs of the Corpus Christi region to
improve mobility and air quality, and alleviate traffic congestion
to improve quality of life and spur economic development. Approved

Public Participation Plan:
This policy is intended to ensure that public participation is an
integral and effective part of the MPO activities and that decisions
are made with the benefit and consideration of important public
perspectives. This policy provides a mechanism for bringing a broad
range of diverse viewpoints and values into the MPO decision-making
process. Early public involve-ment enables the MPO to make more
informed decisions, improve quality through collaborative efforts,
build mutual understanding and trust between the MPO and the public
