Amendments to the FY 2010-2011 - Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP)

The following "Public Notice" was published in the Sunday edition of the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, May 2, 2010.

The Corpus Christi Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is planning to revise the 2010-2011 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). The UPWP is the planning program of the MPO and identifies the tasks to be under-taken as part of the transportation planning process in Nueces and San Patricio Counties. Discussion of possible amendments will take place on: 
OOMay 20, 2010 at the 9:00 a.m. meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee at the Regional Transportation Authority's Administrative Offices Board Room located at 5658 Bear Lane in Corpus Christi, TX 78405 and on;
OOJune 3, 2010 at the 1:30 p.m. meeting of the Transportation Policy Committee at City of Corpus Christi City Hall Council Chambers located at 1201 Leopard Street in Corpus Christi, TX 78401.
OOPublic input is encouraged and welcome and can be submitted in person, by mail or e-mail. Information about the UPWP and the MPO is available on the MPO website www.corpuschristi-mpo.org. Based upon input action to approve any or all of the amendments may take place at the June 3rd meeting of the Transportation Policy Committee.

Amendments to the FY 2010-2035 - Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) & FY 2011-2014 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

The following "Public Notice" was published in the Sunday edition of the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, March 28, 2010.

The Corpus Christi Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will seek public input and comments on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the 1:30 p.m. meeting of the Transportation Policy Committee (TPC) at the Corpus Christi City Hall located at 1201 Leopard in Corpus Christi, TX 78401 and again on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the 9:00 a.m. meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) of the MPO at the Administrative Offices of the Regional Transportation Authority located at 5658 Bear Lane in Corpus Christi. 
OOThe TPC and the TAC will receive public input, hold discussion, and possibly take action to request an amendment of the 2010-2035 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and the 2011-2014 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) of the MPO. The amendments being discussed address changes to these plans regarding project priorities and funding that can be reasonably anticipated to expedite projects in the Metropolitan Planning Organization project area.

OOPossible action to modify or adopt the amendments based on public input received will take place during the TPC Meeting on May 6, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Corpus Christi City Hall located at 1201 Leopard in Corpus Christi, TX 78401.

This public notice of "public involvement activities" and time established for public review and comment on the MTP and TIP will satisfy the program-of-projects requirements of the Urbanized Area Formula Program (Section 5307) of the Federal Transit Administration.
